श्री गुरु हरक्रिशन विद्यालय परिवार द्वारा बड़े हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ हिंदी दिवस मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी की विभिन्न गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया गया ।

हिंदी दिवस मनाने का उद्देश्य हमारी मातृभाषा हिंदी को सम्मान देना, इसके प्रयोग को बढ़ावा देना, नई पीढ़ी में इसके महत्व के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाना और राष्ट्रीय एकता व सांस्कृतिक गौरव को मजबूत करना है।

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, proudly participated in the Kala Bharti Colouring Competition, organised by the Kala Bharti Organisation, The school was honoured with the prestigious Best School Award. The Principal, Mrs. Vinita Bansal, was conferred with the Kala Vibhushan Award. A total of 31 students were felicitated with the Kala Gaurav Awards for their commendable artistic participation and achievement. The school Art Teacher Mrs. Swapnali Koche was honoured with the Kala Bhushan Award. Two Class Teachers were honoured with the Best Class Teacher Awards for encouraging and facilitating maximum student participation in the competition. The main motto to encourage the students in such participation reflects the school’s commitment to provides students with opportunities to discover, express and develop their creative potential, hidden talent, boost their self-confident and provide them opportunities to participate in National competitions.

A Nutrition Quiz was organised by the Peace Foundation. 5 students actively participated in the competition.  The quiz covered various aspects of nutrition, including balanced diet, major components of food, nutritional deficiencies and healthy eating habits. The school’s enthusiastic participation was appreciated, and the students secured a trophy as Consolation Prize and participation certificates. The main motto to motivate the students to participate in such competitions is to make them understand that participation is the 1^st step towards excellence and every opportunity is a chance to learn grow and shine.

LIC Drawing Competition was organized in the LIC Divisional Office, Nagpur for the students of Std. VI to Std. IX. Many schools participated in this competition. Students receive participation certificates. The main motto to encourage students in such competition is to provide them platform to explore their hidden talent, boost their self-confident and provide them opportunities to participate in in Inter School Competitions.

As a part of Reading Club activity, a creative activity titled “Designing a Book Cover Jacket” was conducted in school library for Std. VI. Students selected a story book and creatively designed a Book Jacket for it. The main motto to conduct their activity was to develop interest in reading books, to encourage creativity, imaginative power and to develop artistic and presentation skill in them.

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School enthusiastically participated in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with the aim of nurturing patriotism, national pride and a sense of responsibility among the students. Students clicked their selfies along with their Tiranga and uploaded on Har Ghar Tiranga portal. Vande Mataram National song was collectively sung by the teachers and the students which filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of love and respect for our motherland. Various cultural programmes were organised to mark the occasion.  The main motto of this campaign was to build a personal and emotional connection with them the Tiranga and also make the students familiar with the National song Vande Mataram.

Guru Purnima was celebrated with great zeal and religious fervor and as a mark of tribute to the Gurus (Teachers). The Main Motto of celebrating this event is to make the students understand the importance of gurus in their lives and inculcate a feeling of respect for them.
