The Investiture Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and dignity in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School in the gracious presence of the esteemed Management of the Sikh Education Society President Sardar Amritpal Singh Alag, Former President Sardar Gurbux Singh Lamba, CEO & General Secretary Sardar Sarbjit Singh Kalsi and School Principal Mrs. Vinita Bansal, staff members and students. The ceremony marked the formal installation of the newly elected School Cabinet. The School Flag was ceremoniously handed over by the Head Boy Mast. Kushal Rangne and to the Head Girl Miss. Janhavi Waghmare. The school newly inducted school parliament was decorated with Badges & Sashes and flags were handed over to them. The School Principal administered the oath to the office bearers, inspiring the young leaders to serve the school with sincerity, discipline, and dedication. The Head Girl Miss. Janhavi Waghmare expressed her gratitude to the Management, Principal, teachers, and students for their trust and support.The main motto to organize this ceremony in the school is to make the students learn to shoulder their responsibilities and also prepare them to be responsible future citizens of the democratic country.

Tree plantation drive was organised in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School in which students planted saplings of different kinds (ex. herbal, medicinal, floral plants etc). The Main Motto behind this activity was to sensitize the students about the environment, harmful effects of deforestation, global warming etc. and to make them understand the importance of planting, nurturing and saving the trees

Various clubs were formed in the school as per the instructions of CBSE and for the smooth functioning of the institution. various clubs introduced themselves and students presented slogans, skits, poems, dramas and the motto of their clubs. The main motto to form a variety of clubs is to carry out activities in various fields, to create awareness among the students & make them learn to shoulder their responsibilities.

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, students paid heartfelt tribute to their gurus by expressing their sincere gratitude for their guidance and blessings. The motto of the celebration was to inculcate the values of respect, gratitude, humility, and reverence towards teachers from an early age, helping students understand the importance of acknowledging their gurus as the guiding lights in their lives, and they are the ones who dispel darkness & help to embrace wisdom.

Environment Day was celebrated in the Pre-Primary section of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School with great enthusiasm. Nursery students enthusiastically participated in dabbing activity of tree with the help of bubble sheet. Jr. Kg students participated in tree plantation drive and Sr. Kg students had a Nature Walk within the school campus. The main motto of the celebration was to spread awareness among students about protecting nature and keeping our surroundings clean and green. It also made them understand that even small actions like planting trees, saving trees & keeping the surroundings clean can make a big difference. It also focused to help the students to develop love for nature and inspire young minds to become caring guardians of Mother Earth.

ORIENTATION SESSION for the academic year 2026–27 was conducted for the parents for the Pre-Primary. The main Motto of the session was to provide a clear understanding of the school’s curriculum, teaching methodologies and classroom environment to ensure a strong home-school partnership from the very beginning of the academic journey.

St. Vincent Palloti School in association with Nagpur District Chess Association had organised 16th Inter-school & junior college chess championship 2026 at St. Vincent Palloti School. 22 Students from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School participated. School team bagged a trophy for being at 1st position out of 822 students from 38 schools. High school boys team Mast. Sahejveer Singh Maras Std. VIII A, Mast. Yugant Ramteke Std. X A, Mast. Prashik Choudhary Std. X C and Anurag walde from std. IX D bagged individual gold medals and certificates. In High School individual Boys Category Mast. Sahejveer singh bagged trophy and certificate and Mast. Yugant Ramteke was awarded a gold medal, certificate and was among the 10 best players. The main motto to motivate the students to participate is to provide a platform to the students to explore their talent, boost their self-confidence and help them to reach National Level / International Level.

Kargil Diwas was observed in the school. Praharis of ‘Prahar Samaj Jagruti Sanstha’ conducted the session. The main motto to conduct such type of sessions is to provide proper guidelines to the students to choose their future career especially in defence and to inculcate the values of courage, discipline, vigilance and patriotism in young scholars of Std IX.

SRI GURU HARKRISHAN PUBLIC SCHOOL proudly celebrated the outstanding achievement of its student Mast. Sehajveer Singh Maras of Std. VIII who secured 1^st position in H2e Power System Maharashtra State under 13 selection FIDE Rating Chess Championship 2026 organized by Maharashtra Chess Association held at Solapur .  He received a trophy, certificate and cash prize of Rs. 4000/- for this remarkable accomplishment at State Level and he has been selected for the National Level Under 13 Chess Championship. The main motto to motivate the students to participate is to provide a platform to the students to explore their talent, boost their self-confidence and help them to reach National Level / International Level.

12^th International Yoga Day was organized in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School. Various activities like Mass Yoga, Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation etc. were conducted under the theme yoga for ‘Healthy Ageing’.  The main motto to celebrate this day was to create awareness about the benefits of yoga and help the staff to nurture physical health, mental peace and emotional well-being, also to encourage them to adopt yoga as a way of life for a healthy, happier and bright future.
